Sausage Fettuccine

With the cooler air beginning to come in, we wanted to share one of our favorite fall recipes: Sausage Fettuccine. Not only is this recipe a favorite of my husband and I's, but it's one that is frequently requested by our children as well.
You'll find this amazing recipe inside of our sister site's cookbook, "The Gift of Time" on page 171. This amazing cookbook includes an entire year's worth of weekly menus, grocery lists and recipes to simplify your busy life! (All for just $14.95!)

  • 1 lb. ground Italian sausage
  • 1 1/2 cloves garlic
  • 2 T. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz. pkg. Fettuccine
  • Salt/Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Half & Half

Boil water and cook fettuccine completely. Brown sausage; drain. Mix in garlic and onion until heated. Whisk in flour, half & half, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly, without boiling. Spoon over cooked fettuccine.
