Sausage Fettuccine

With the cooler air beginning to come in, we wanted to share one of our favorite fall recipes: Sausage Fettuccine. Not only is this recipe a favorite of my husband and I's, but it's one that is frequently requested by our children as well.

SAUSAGE FETTUCCINE

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. ground Italian sausage
  • 1 1/2 cloves garlic
  • 2 T. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz. pkg. Fettuccine
  • Salt/Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Half & Half
Directions:

Boil water and cook fettuccine completely. Brown sausage; drain. Mix in garlic and onion until heated. Whisk in flour, half & half, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly, without boiling. Spoon over cooked fettuccine.
