This recipe is such a simple one and one that I'm sure all will enjoy. So here's what you'll need:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (24 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 6 oven-ready lasagna noodles (uncooked)
Brown your beef; drain. Mix in spaghetti sauce and water. In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese, 1-1/2 cup mozzarella, 2 Tbsp. Parmesan, egg and Italian seasoning.
Spoon 1 cup meat sauce into crock pot, then top with layers of lasagna noodles that are broken to fit; top noodles with cheese mixture. Next, cover with 2 cups meat sauce. Top with remaining noodles, broken to fit; cheese mixture and meat sauce. Cover with lid.
Cook on low 4-6. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese; let stand, covered, 10 min. or until melted. Happy crocking!
